The 78th World Health Assembly (WHA) is the annual meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) and is the highest decision-making body of the organization. The WHA is attended by representatives from all WHO Member States and focuses on a wide range of global health issues, including disease outbreaks, health emergencies, and the implementation of WHO programs and policies.

The event will held on Monday, May 19, 2025 9:00 - Tuesday, May 27, 2025 18:00 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

The main role of the WHA is to determine the policies of the WHO, supervise financial policies, and review and approve the proposed program budget. The Assembly also elects the Director-General and members of the Executive Board and receives reports from the Director-General and from other WHO bodies.
